KONSEP DAN TEORI DASAR PENDIDIKAN SERTA TRANSFORMASINYA DI ERA DIGITAL

This study aims to examine the fundamental concepts and theories of education as well as their transformation in the digital era. The background of this research is rooted in the challenges of globalization and technological advancement, which have significantly influenced the direction, methods, and objectives of education. These developments demand a more relevant, flexible, and future-oriented learning system. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using thematic analysis, based on literature review from educational policy documents, scientific journals, and relevant academic references. The findings indicate that educational transformation is driven by the application of educational principles such as democracy, humanism, and relevance to the times, alongside the integration of digital technologies in learning processes. Philosophical, juridical, and sociological values remain essential foundations in shaping an adaptive education system. The study concludes that strengthening education in the digital era is not solely dependent on technology or curriculum innovation, but also on the integration of fundamental educational values and collaboration among stakeholders to realize inclusive, sustainable, and character- based education.
